Bracelet made out of Shweswhe fabric. Wrap once around the wrist and tie two knots to close. Beads and charms made of nickel free alloy, silver colour. Hand made by women in South Africa. Presented in a bright branded tube, perfect as a gift container and/or to store the item.
Zintle is a female Xhosa name, meaning “They are beautiful”.
Shweshwe is a printed and dyed cotton fabric, widely used for traditional South African clothing. Originally dyed indigo, the fabric is manufactured in a variety of colours and printing designs characterised by intricate geometric patterns. Due to its timeless popularity, shweshwe has been described as the denim or tartan of South Africa.
